Yes. The Economy tier is free and includes all core features — roster import, logbook, calendar sync, crew tracking, and duty swap. Paid tiers (Business €2.50/month, First Class €4.99/month) add iCloud backup and the tax report. A 90-day free trial is available for paid features.

Do I need an account to use CrewLog?

No. CrewLog works entirely on your device with no login required. There is no cloud account, no tracking, no ads, and no analytics. You stay in full control of your data.

Is my data stored locally?

Yes. All flight, duty, and crew data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData (iOS) or the Android equivalent. There is no mandatory cloud sync. Optional iCloud Drive JSON backup is available in the First Class tier.

Does CrewLog sync to my calendar?

Yes. CrewLog can sync your flights, off days, and standby duties in parallel to both the iOS Calendar (EventKit) and Google Calendar. Family, friends, and crew can see your schedule directly in their calendar app.

What is the tax report feature?

The tax report (First Class tier) generates a German-compliant Verpflegungsmehraufwand / per-diem report from your flight and layover data. You can export it as HTML or PDF and hand it to your tax advisor.
