Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions about CrewLog.

Download your roster as a PDF from your airline's crew portal. Open CrewLog and use the import function to select or share the PDF. CrewLog's AI parser will automatically detect flights, duties, hotels, and layovers. Review the imported data and confirm. Your roster is ready.
CrewLog can sync your duties to your device's calendar. You can use your existing calendar or let CrewLog create a dedicated one. Once enabled, all flights, off days, and standby duties appear in your calendar app and can be shared with family or crew.
Your logbook is automatically populated from your imported rosters. Block times, flight hours, FDP, and duty positions are tracked for each flight. You can view summaries, filter by date range, and export data for your records or tax advisor.
CrewChange helps you track roster modifications. When you import an updated roster, CrewLog compares it with your previous version and highlights all changes — new flights, removed duties, time adjustments, and crew swaps. Nothing slips through the cracks.
CrewBuddy shows you which colleagues you've been flying with and how often. It helps you stay connected with your crew by tracking shared flights and providing a quick overview of your crew history.
CrewLog generates structured reports for tax purposes based on your flight data. This includes per diem calculations, layover days, duty summaries, and other relevant figures. Export the report and share it with your tax advisor. Note: tax reports are for reference and should be verified by a professional.
Yes. CrewLog follows a local-first approach. All your data — rosters, logbook entries, contacts, and settings — is stored on your device. There is no cloud sync requirement, no mandatory account, and no external data storage. You are in full control.
Send an email to [email protected] with a description of the issue, your device model, iOS version, and if possible, a screenshot. The more detail you provide, the faster we can investigate and fix it.
We're always looking to improve CrewLog based on real crew feedback. Email us at [email protected] with your idea and we'll consider it for future updates.
Since CrewLog stores data locally, your data is part of your device backup. When restoring from an iCloud or local backup, your CrewLog data should be included. If you need help with data migration or have lost data, contact our support team and we'll assist you.
